Travelogue: Mexico, Day 1

If you recall, I blogged about my surprise trip to Mexico quite many posts back because I could not contain my excitement. Look back HERE!
In my mind, when I left Singapore my two/three destinations were: NEW YORK CITY, SEATTLE and VANCOUVER.
I had absolutely no clue that I was going to end up on the other part of the globe somewhere off the equator.
Weather/Climate unpreparedness aside, it was a huge mental shock to me. I swear I was so surprised I could not speak.
My favourite boy just told us that we were leaving for Zihuatanejo 7 hours before our flight. At 00.01 on the 1st of Janurary this year. It was a mad rush because we had to pack and all really quick. Jon got really stressed that we were running late but I was calm as a bird. I think probably still overwhelmed by the fact that I was going to Mexico. Didn’t know what to bring. I didnt have much in the first place. Dorothy, Jon’s mom, lent me her hats to bring along for the trip. I love Dorothy, and you too, fav boy :)

Can’t wait to blog about Day 2 and 3 and all the other days of my trip!!!!!!!!!!!
Getting ready for dinner now, my GFD girls are sitting behind me! We had such a good time at the Singapore Botanic Gardens today! More soon!

Love,
Mel
